Frankel Avenue Bungalow Whole-House Upholstery Deep Cleaning Project
The situation
A well-kept bungalow along Frankel Avenue, belonging to one of our regular customers. The home was maintained carefully, but after frequent use by the family in Singapore's hot climate, it was time for the furniture to have a proper deep clean.
Rather than focusing on just one or two pieces, this time we took on the whole house — essentially every piece of fabric furniture that could be cleaned.
That included two large, room-sized sofas, a dining set, seven beds and several office chairs.
What we did
We carried out deep extraction cleaning and high-heat steam cleaning throughout the home.
With so many frequently used fabric surfaces, extraction was particularly important. The upholstery had accumulated plenty of everyday dirt and buildup despite the home being well maintained.
After extraction, we followed with high-heat steam cleaning across the appropriate items as an additional deep-cleaning step.
The result
The entire home was completed in four hours, covering the family's sofas, dining furniture, beds and office chairs.
The extraction pulled out a considerable amount of dirt from the upholstery — a reminder that even a well-kept home can have significant buildup in fabric furniture when it's being used regularly.
