Two mattresses and a sofa, cleaned and steam-sanitised in one visit to a Hougang HDB flat.
The situation
A Hougang HDB home, three items due for a proper reset: two mattresses and a sofa, all part of daily life in the flat and none of them ever having had a real deep clean beyond regular vacuuming.
What we did
Every item got hot water extraction followed by steam sanitisation. Extraction pulled the everyday build-up out of the mattresses and sofa — dust, skin cells, the kind of thing that settles in over months of normal use. Steam followed on all three, killing dust mites and bacteria the extraction alone doesn't reach.
The result
The extraction water told the usual story — a home that looked perfectly normal, with fabric holding a lot more than the surface let on. As always, the household got a video of their own dirty water from the job — proof of exactly what came out, not a promise.
