Kembangan Landed Home Furniture Deep Cleaning Project
Six pieces of upholstered furniture deep cleaned and steam-sanitised in 1.5 hours — two three-seater sofas, two armchairs and two stools that had accumulated dirt from years of use before the tenants moved out.
The situation
Before moving out of their Kembangan landed home, Ms Sandra wanted to have the landlord’s furniture properly deep cleaned. The furniture had been used for years and had accumulated dirt and grime that regular surface cleaning could not remove.
With six pieces to clean before the move, the goal was to refresh the upholstery and leave the furniture in better condition for the next occupants.
What we did
We did our signature deep cleaning with shampoo injection and extraction, and finished off with a high heat steam sanitisation.
We cleaned all six pieces of furniture, extracting the dirt and buildup that had accumulated through years of everyday use. The extraction process brought out a considerable amount of dirt, while the cleaning made a visible difference to the fabric.
The result
The fabrics became noticeably lighter after cleaning, giving the sofas, armchairs and stools a fresher appearance. A significant amount of dirt was extracted from the upholstery, showing how much buildup can remain even after years of regular use.
Ms Sandra was happy with the results and expressed interest in engaging StandByBed.sg again to clean the furniture in her new home.
