Sofa, Mattress & Office Chair Deep Clean — Circuit Road HDB
Four items, done and dry, in 45 minutes. A newer home that was already well kept — and still had plenty hiding in the fabric.
The situation
A Circuit Road HDB flat with newer furniture — the kind of home that genuinely looks after itself. Everything looked new, the place was clean, and the last general cleaning was only about four months ago.
This is the home most people assume doesn't need a deep clean. Newish sofa, newish mattress, nothing visibly wrong. They booked us anyway: the L-shape sofa, the bedroom mattress, and the office chair.
What we did
Every item got hot water extraction followed by steam sanitisation. Extraction pulls the embedded dirt, dust and skin cells out of the fabric; the steam follows with high heat that kills dust mites and bacteria the extraction can't reach.
The office chair is the one people forget. If you work from home, you're sitting in it for hours a day — it collects more sweat and body oils than almost anything else in the house, and it almost never gets cleaned. We did the whole chair, not just the seat.

The result
Everything came up clean — properly clean. And that's the point worth making: this was a newer home, kept tidy, cleaned only four months ago. It still had enough in the fabric to make the extraction water dirty.
Fabric doesn't wait until it looks bad. Sweat, dust and dust mites build up from day one, below the surface where you can't see them. A home that looks clean and a home that is clean underneath aren't always the same thing — and you don't need to wait years to feel the difference.
