Tanah Merah Condo — Sofa, Bed, Carpet & Curtain Deep Clean
A carpet, two office chairs, a bed, three curtain panels and a sofa, cleaned and steam-sanitised in one 2-hour visit — a fairly new condo in Tanah Merah, put through a full fabric deep clean for the first time.
The situation
A condo in Tanah Merah — new, well kept, the kind of home that looks spotless the moment you walk in. But a new home doesn't mean new furniture, and even furniture that's never had a mark on it still collects dust, everyday build-up and airborne particles simply from being lived in and around.
Six items across the home needed attention: a carpet, two office chairs, a bed, three curtain panels, and a sofa.
What we did
Every item got hot water extraction followed by steam sanitisation.
The carpet and sofa were the two biggest surfaces in the home and, as expected, took the most out in extraction — carpets and sofas usually do, since they cover the most area and see the most daily contact. What we didn't expect was the two office chairs. They're mesh — mostly open weave, not deep padded fabric — and on paper there's very little in a chair like that for dirt to hide in. The extraction water said otherwise.
The bed and the three curtain panels rounded out the job, each getting the same extraction-then-steam treatment — steam adding a pass that kills dust mites and bacteria the extraction alone doesn't reach.

The result
This is a home that looks new and is genuinely well kept — and the water still came out dirty on every single item, mesh chairs included. That's really the point of a fabric deep clean: it has nothing to do with how tidy a home looks. Dust and everyday build-up sit inside the fabric, invisible from the outside, in new homes as much as old ones.
