Newborn Preparation Sofa Deep Cleaning in Singapore
A five-seater sofa deep cleaned and steam-sanitised in 45 minutes — a spotless Woodgrove Ascent BTO home where a new family wanted to make sure their seemingly clean sofa was ready for their firstborn.
The situation
A young family living in a beautiful, self-designed home at Woodgrove Ascent was preparing for their firstborn.
The home was a relatively new BTO, with the family having moved in only about a year ago. Everything was spotless and well kept, including their five-seater sofa.
The sofa looked clean too. There were no obvious stains or signs that it needed cleaning. But the family wanted to make sure it was properly cleaned before the baby arrived, so they called us in for a deep clean.
What we did
We carried out deep shampooing and extraction on the five-seater sofa, followed by steam sanitisation.
Despite the sofa looking clean and the home being so well maintained, quite a bit of dirt was still extracted. The water came out black, showing how much buildup can sit deeper in the fabric even when there is little visible dirt on the surface.
We also steam-treated their newly purchased baby items as part of their preparation for the new arrival.
The result
The sofa was left refreshed after the deep extraction and steam treatment, with a surprising amount of dirt removed from a piece that looked clean to begin with.
The entire session took just 45 minutes, including the steam treatment of the sofa and newly purchased baby items.
